Sauder North Avenue Tall Bookcase/Bookshelf, for TVs up to 36", Charter Oak

They looked bigger in the photos but they’re quite small. I got it to match my tv console area but I love them. I ordered two and one that I got was kinda wobbly but it’s fine.

I ordered this with the smaller 3 shelf unit. The look was ideal, and there were a lot of positive reviews. However, after receiving mine and putting it together, I returned it immediately. The frame did not line up correctly so it was not sturdy. The shelves are very cheap particle board, and they were warped right out of the box. There are no guide holes to screw the shelves into the frame. You are supposed to screw them straight in. The screws did not catch into the cheap particle board, so the shelves were not only warped, they were also loose. Two of the screws would not even stay in the particle board and kept falling out. I did not expect an amazing piece for this price, but this turned out to not even be functional so I boxed it back up and sent it back. I didn't take the 5 shelf unit out of the box. I returned it as well, because it would have been the exact same experience.

This is a great shelf. The build feels great and it is sturdy. I'm currently using it in my home office to store and display items, and it's doing great. Needed something with better depth and a very simple boxy shelf, and this was just perfect.

It’s as sturdy as expected. After all this isn’t wrought iron or real wood. It’s going to serve our preteen for a couple years so we will get our moneys worth. Smaller than I thought but I didn’t expect much bigger either. Not disappointed at all and the faux wood shelves look better than I expected them to. Overall we are pleased.

Got these to accompany the Display Cabinets and while they look nice and were easy to build, they are quite small. Would have preferred a deeper and wider shelf but that was not an option. Overall I am still pleased with them though as they look great with the Display Cabinets.
