I love that there is a lower desk level. It is necessary, for proper body alignment, to have a lower desk if you are on the shorter side. A desk at 28+ inches, most coming in at 30", is way too high. Ones shoulders should not raise while working on the keyboard. A desk should be low enough that the shoulders stay relaxed. If they are raised that is what causes the neck and shoulder cramping and fatigue. I give 5 stars to this desk simply for giving shorter people the ability to work comfortably. Visually, it is beautiful and heavy. I'm sure it'll last for many, many years. It took two of us about 2 hours and 15 minutes to put it together. Take your time and it'll come out beautifully.

Heavy duty and beautiful! I'm very picky when it comes to furniture, and I loved the way this one looked. Took a while to build, but once it's together it is a great piece to have!

When the desk showed up, part E was missing and I actually got two of part F. I reached out to Sauder and they sent the missing part E pretty fast—got it in about 5 days. But the replacement part came damaged because the box was crushed in the corner. The packaging definitely wasn’t great.

I was worried about getting this but I'm so glad i did. Its beautiful and always gets compliments. Also fits a good amount of stuff underneath.

I was hoping to really love this desk, especially for the price. I know “things these days are not made the same.” But I try not to jump on that bandwagon.Setup was not extremely difficult as I have put together several furniture pieces before. However, I had missing screw holes, an extra piece, and misaligned screw holes. Somehow, I got lucky enough that the issues I did find will not compromise the desk structurally unless I decide to put the over 50lb weight limit on it.I’d have to say that for $300, if I could, I’d go back a buy the beautiful mid century desk I found on FB Marketplace…even with its dings and scratches.Why don’t I just return it you ask? The time and effort putting it together and the cleanup of cardboard and styrofoam pieces involved outweigh me undoing everything.
