Some plastic parts for the drawer gliders were crushed in shipping. I would expect this from the heavy weight of the item. Co t Ted the company and was immediately sent the pets I needed. Excellent item and very pretty, simple and functional. If you have file tabs on your file folders, the drawer will not shut without snapping them off. Just learned this recently.

Table is heavy than I thought. It took a lot of time to assemble the table. Overall quality is good, look is nice. Some instructions is the manual were not clear enough but I made it through.

First photo is the desk at night, second is during the day with natural light. Putting this beast together was absolutely time consuming, I two rounds of 2,5h the first day, and another 2 hours the next day to finish. The directions they give are very helpful. The top is extremely heavy and most parts are very qualitative even if they’re not hardwood. The video shows the amount of screws that have to be screwed by hand because a drill doesn’t fit around the legs. About 48 screws by hand only for the legs plus many many more for the rest. The only damaged part that came is in the right picture. It didn’t affect the installation or the look because it’s on the side of a drawer (on the inside). Prepare yourself with lots of patience if you ever buy this because I was making fun of the people in other reviews when they were complaining about how long it took them to put it together but once I started I realized why.The only significant flaw I see is the closing mechanism for the drawers. Although they fit perfectly, when you push them to close they don’t close all the way. You have to give them a final push to get them in place. I was surprised to see that they lubed the closing mechanisms which makes them extremely silent and smooth.

It is undeniably a SAUDER product. I find it is extremely modern and chic. From the beautiful two tone, to the leather straps as drawer handles, but mostly the amazing feature of two file drawers in addition to two additional drawers!! WOW! ALL OF THAT in one compact package that occupies little space yet has presence. Understated look. Highly recommend!

File drawers are too small. Won’t hold hanging folders and close. So disappointed to say the least. Purchased around holidays and not put together until too late to return. I’m stuck with a expensive useless desk for an adult office. It’s cute for a child’s room just of no use for a true office/home business desk.
