I looove these nightstands. Bought two and they are awesome so far. Took about an hour each by myself. They are particle board and laminate but they feel very sturdy. The drawer is large with lots of room. I love the color. Warm natural wood look that ended up matching my headboard from another company perfectly. May swap out the drawer pull but they’re perfect.

Disclaimer: I switched out the pull on mine! It’s like an antique bronze color and didn’t fit in the space so I made a simple swap to solid black.Now for the review:I hesitated on these. I almost didn’t buy them because the only actual review was negative (but said it was supposed to be a filing cabinet, so no ACTUAL review). Boy am I glad I took the gamble!Upon delivery I found: it looked very weirdly packaged. I should have taken a picture, but at first I had no idea how to open it. Then I realized it was just that there was multiple layers of packaging and reinforcement to keep them from getting damaged during shipping. I have received SO many damaged pieces of furniture delivery lately that this was a HUGE plus for me!I also noticed they were hard to bring in because they’re HEAVY. Turns out it’s like actual wood made in the USA quality product. I paid about $180 each for these. Never dreamed they would have been this solid at that price, I’m floored. I would easily expect these to be $500 at this quality.The bad: assembly is tedious. On the bright side, the instructions are AMAZING so I didn’t take a star off for how much assembly there was. It took over an hour to assemble the first one. There’s like 25+ steps, it’s not for the faint of heart. But each step has detailed pictures, a very thorough write-up (reading the directions may have taken as long as the actual assembly). They also have a sense of humor reminding you to get snacks. A+The amazing: these are BEAUTIFUL, these are SOLID. These are in our guest room and I’m maybe a little jealous, but our guests think we put expensive furniture in there now and we didn’t so that’s cool.Don’t sleep on these. If you’re looking for gray wood nightstands look no further.

Inspired to create a chair where the back and arms are moulded from a single piece of plywood, Hecht and Colin describe employing a process similar to that a tailor might use to cut a pattern in fabric. This approach resulted in the beautiful structure wherein the moulded back and arms component is supported by a simple A-frame wood dowel construction. One of the benefits of this design is an increase in comfort due to natural movement in the plywood back.
