I really like table it’s pretty and exactly what I wanted.

I bought the whole set (tables, tv stand, this) to go in the living room to brighten it up - I bought the set based on this supposedly awesome coffee table so I could put travel mementos in the glass area. All of the other pieces were fairly easy to put together and look great and are sturdy. ** for info: I am great at putting together furniture, if Ikea gave out scout badges, I'd have one - so I know how to follow instructions and can use the tool bag properly* THIS piece however was a nightmare to put together! The holes did not align, the instructions were shabby and didn't explain it properly, and the glass is super thin. Its already broken after less than a month! Not going to spend the money to purchase another although I'm very upset that the ONE piece I really wanted out of the set, is crap! If you're considering this I'd keep looking! The picture is beautiful - the actual table is not :-/

I am very OCD so everything I touch I do with a tender hand. Yet, no matter how soft and gentle I was putting this cabinet together, the unfinished edges would crumble and the finished areas would scratch. I'm very sad that I spent the money on this. If it wasn't half assembled when I noticed the damage, I would have sent it back. Oh well, my loss.

This is cute. It’s a nice piece for our family room. It was a beast to assemble and we noticed that not everything aligns just right but it works for us. I like the rise of the table for writing and the laptop. The storage is also nice. It does scratch very easy but it’s going to get a lot of use so it’s “character”.

I bought this coffee table about a year and a half ago.I do remember that it took me about 3 hours to assemble, on my own.I did have trouble with the very last step in the installation instructions. There's a small pressboard beam with four holes in it that's supposed to be installed to keep the table level as you open/close the lift top. The holes in this piece didn't line up with the holes in the lifting mechanism. I contacted the seller and they sent me a new beam, but the screws still did not line up. The lift top does still open/close without this beam installed.The first picture is the table shortly after I assembled the table. I found some baskets at Target that fit perfectly under the table.The rest of the pictures were taken more recently, about a year and a half later. It's a heavy coffee table, but not very sturdy. You'll see that I had to use nails to reinforce part of the bottom shelf as it kept falling to the floor.Overall, as long as your guests aren't going to rest their feet on the bottom shelf, and if you don't live in a humid environment, this table will probably hold up better and longer than mine did. It's a super cute table, I just wish it was made out of solid wood.Note: For context, the average lowest humidity in my area is around 45%, and the highest is around 75%.
