Sauder Trestle Lift-Top Coffee Table, Mystic Oak Finish

This took me about 2.5-3 hours to assemble. I also did not realize that I would need help at one point, so I had to grab my wife to help give me a hand. Overall, it is relatively easy to put together, but there is a lot to it. It is very sturdy and very well made once assembled. The quality seems on par with the price. Ours had a dime size nick on it that I was very frustrated about to begin with, but they send plenty of stickers that blend into the material of the product exceptionally well, and I was able to stick one of these on that scrape and it essentially disappeared. Also, there is a plastic foot in the middle to help add support to the table, but ours did not work, so it is essentially useless and doesn't work. I am hoping that over time it doesn't sag due to this not working. I think buildability is about 3 stars, quality of the materials is about 3 stars and finished product is a solid 4 star almost 5 star. Once finished, we are pretty happy with the product.

This is the best coffee table ever! It has tons of storage. It’s a pretty color. It’s great for working while sitting on the couch.

I’ve praised a lot of products on here, but this coffee table really raised the bar! I can’t even begin to tell you how happy I am with this!The assembly process was lengthy (about 3 hours on my own), and there are a fair number of pieces, but they really break it down step-by-step - even reminding you to get your friend pizza if they help, haha.The materials are beyond what I expected. No cheap laminate (except I think on a few minor pieces). I think it’s a very very heavy manufactured wood, but it looks like it might even be real? Either way, most of it is stained to color. Usually I cannot stand cam lock systems, but the way it worked with this was flawless. All the holes lined up perfectly as well, and the wood seems to be cut with precision which is incredibly rare with most of the pieces I’ve received lately.They put a lot of thought into small things (like an adjustable leg in the center underneath for stability, a hole if you run cords through the base, etc).The top is super stable when opened and is in alignment with the line that connects to the solid side, however I did notice the ONLY thing that bothers me is the sits slightly higher, so it’s not perfect flat unless you put something on it.There is a ton of storage inside, it’s very deep. And of course you have the drawers as well.I’ve only had a few pieces from sauder, and so far, every single one of them has impressed me! Beyond thrilled.

This table is sturdy, classy, and worth the effort to build. It has great space for storage, and the lifting top completely changes how useful the living room is. I want to offer some constructive critique, but it really is as good as they say it is. And, I can easily see this lasting for decades.

I got this coffee table to replace a glass top table on my living room. It was easy to assemble and looks very nice. It’s a quality piece of furniture.
